WIKI - Bird Identification App

Hello. I am Niklas.
When I first came to Southern Africa, I was fascinated with the whole new world of birds surrounding me. All these beautiful colors, shapes and sounds. From the pretty little Blue Waxbill to the charming but intruding Red-billed Hornbill.
Like many bird fascinated people I tried to learn more about all these little and giant fellers.
While living in Botswana, on my many attempts to identify the birds I took pictures of, I often ended up on this page:
Wikipedia - List of birds of Botswana
Thanks a lot to all volunteers, who contribute to this encyclopedia. Only on this single page, you find a list of almost 600 bird species. And for all these birds, detailed information, pictures and references are provided. The only challenge I always faced was:
How do I identify a bird using a long list of headers only?
As web developer I came up with the dream to create an app which will allow people to use this page, searching for birds not by headers, but by pictures. Finally this app is available. At least for Southern Africa. All birds of Botswana, Namibia and South Africa (according to wikipedia) can now be filtered by group, color, picture or word search!
Just get started or first read the HELP article!
